![]() That being said for a downhill park, it is pretty fun and has some fun trails for intermediate riders and up. To put it in a nutshell this is a downhill park with a shuttle servicing it. There may be another trail to get around but it is quite a round about way to get there adding 2 miles to the route. that trail is pretty much exclusively downhill. This route will take you up to the cabin at the first peak, but the second half of the park means taking another chain of trails and going up the another black diamond that has the crazy wooden bridge section that is posted in so many photos. ![]() The only feasible way to access them by going uphill is by going up a black diamond route that is 70% wooden bridges which sketches a lot of people out and it is pretty steep. There are 2 high points at the park and both are drop off spots by the shuttle. What I mean is there is no easy way to the 2nd half of the park. ![]() This trail system shouldn't even be considered for Singletracks, first off the park is maintained by the same people who work at the shuttle(small community) that being said, the trails are designed so that you will pay for and use the shuttle. From huge views atop Brockway Mountain to the stormy shores of Lake Superior at High Rock Bay, there are so many sights to see you'll have to ride everything to catch it all! There is also some seriously technical rock sections which will test even the most seasoned riders but with the wonderful payoff of a truly georgeous lake to dive into at the end of the line! Man, the water is cold! The scenery is truly something special because the surrounding land is basically wilderness so be prepared to see some bear scat and other interesting "wild" sights! Breathing such clean air at this locale is something everyone should experience at least once in their lives. The trail ranges from nice flat gravel bike paths down along the lakeside to tight (sometimes very steep) technical singletrack. Stop in to any local business for some prime intel, or go straight to the Keweenaw Adventure Company for the scoop on trail conditions, shuttles, and rentals. Take US-41 as far north as you can go to the tip of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and you will dead end into the quaint little burg of Copper Harbor, Michigan's northernmost town.
